Licensed Primary Therapist (LPC/LCSW) - SUD

Milestone Treatment Center is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilled Licensed Primary Therapist to join our growing co-occurring behavioral health team. This position provides individual and group psychotherapy to adults receiving treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate psychoeducational and process therapy groups
• Provide individual psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based interventions
• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and ongoing weekly outcome measures (including PHQ-9, GAD-7, substance use assessments, and other standardized clinical tools)
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
• Conduct crisis intervention, suicide risk assessments, and relapse risk assessments as clinically indicated
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with psychiatry, nursing, case management, referral sources, and community providers
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
• Communicate effectively with families and outside providers as appropriate
• Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
• Perform other clinical duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Clinical Director

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• Five (5) 8-hour shifts
• Full-time
• In-person

Qualifications

• Active LPC or LCSW license required
• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related behavioral health field from an accredited institution
• Experience working with adults diagnosed with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders preferred
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, relapse prevention, and harm reduction principles
• Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
• Experience with electronic health records preferred
• Familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• TF-CBT Trained
• Experience in PHP or IOP behavioral health settings
