As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support our expanding multi-entity structure and ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight across the organization.
Position Overview
The Senior Staff Accountant will play a critical role in supporting accounting operations across multiple legal entities. This individual must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This role requires attention to detail, ownership of assigned processes, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies independently.
Key Responsibilities
General Accounting & Month-End Close
Prepare and review journal entries across multiple entities
Perform monthly account reconciliations (bank, intercompany, accruals, fixed assets, etc.)
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
Multi-Entity Accounting
Manage accounting functions across multiple operating entities
Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations
Maintain entity-level reporting accuracy and consistency
Support integration of newly acquired entities into financial systems
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Prepare financial reports and variance analyses
Identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Assist leadership with ad hoc financial analysis
Process Improvement & Systems
Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
Support system implementations and integrations
Experience with NetSuite preferred but not required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work or military experience
4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
Experience working in a multi-entity environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
Experience with NetSuite preferred but not required
