As our media department continues to grow, we are seeking a creative and skilled Social Media & Design Specialist to shape and strengthen our digital presence.
Position Summary
This role is ideal for a creative professional who understands both visual storytelling and digital strategy within the financial sector. As our social media & Design Specialist, you will manage and elevate Miles Franklin’s brand across multiple digital platforms. You will be responsible for producing visually compelling content, managing social media activity, and supporting marketing initiatives that educate and engage our audience of investors, truth-seekers, and clients focused on wealth preservation.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across all key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube)
- Track and analyze performance metrics; adjust strategies to improve engagement and growth
- Monitor current trends in social media and the precious metals/commodities space
- Respond professionally to comments and inquiries, fostering community engagement
- Collaborate with leadership and in-house experts to highlight market updates, investment insights, and educational content
Graphic & Visual Design
- Create brand-consistent graphics and digital assets using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Design content for web, email, social, and occasional print needs
- Maintain a polished, professional visual identity that aligns with the firm’s tone
- Produce video clips and reels, or coordinate with video editors
Campaign & Marketing Support
- Support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotions through digital and design initiatives
- Assist with email marketing, paid ads, and SEO-focused content as needed
- Work with internal departments to develop promotional materials
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in social media content creation and/or graphic design
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in marketing or media
- Proficiency with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Familiarity with social media best practices and platform-specific requirements
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, particularly for finance or educational content
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in financial services, investing.
- Video editing experience (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, paid social campaigns, and email platforms (e.g., Constant Contact)
