Position Summary
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide behavior analytic services to children and families, develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, and support Behavior Technicians and RBTs in implementing evidence-based interventions. This role offers flexibility for in-person or telehealth service delivery, depending on client needs and candidate preference.
The BCBA works collaboratively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent, ethical, and high-quality behavioral care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Provide direct ABA therapy and parent/caregiver training (in person or via telehealth).
- Supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring fidelity to treatment protocols and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers (OT, PT, and ST) to coordinate holistic care.
- Collect, analyze, and report data on client progress; adjust programming based on data trends.
- Maintain timely documentation in compliance with DDD, insurance, and HIPAA requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional growth.
- Uphold all BACB, DDD, and AHCCCS ethical and documentation standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Arizona.
- Experience developing and supervising ABA treatment programs for children and/or individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with data collection and telehealth platforms.
Preferred:
- Prior experience with DDD or AHCCCS-funded programs.
- Experience in early intervention, school-based, or pediatric settings.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (a plus, not required).
