What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Youth Sports Coach position at Mile High Kids Collective?
Are you passionate about working with kids and creating an energetic, positive environment? We're looking for enthusiastic coaches to lead daycare and elementary-aged children this fall.
What You'll Do
- Coach boys and girls from 2- 12 years old
- Lead fun, organized soccer or karate classes.
- Teach teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence through positive coaching.
- Create a safe, encouraging, and high-energy environment for every player.
Schedule
This is a very part-time position, with coaches typically working 5–10 hours per week, depending on class assignments. We are currently looking for coaches who are available Monday-Friday Mornings or Early afternoons as well as weekends. This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement their income, such as college students, substitute teachers, stay-at-home parents, or anyone with a flexible schedule who enjoys working with children.
We are seeking coaches throughout the Denver metro area, including Denver, Aurora, Castle Rock, and Parker. Coaches need to be comfortable traveling to assigned school and community locations.
Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience preferred but not required.
- Experience working with children is highly valued (teachers, PE instructors, camp counselors, childcare staff, etc.).
- Positive, energetic, and reliable personality.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Reliable transportation to locations throughout the Denver Metro Area, Aurora, Parker & Castle Rock
- Must successfully pass a background check and fingerprint screening before employment. Pay & Benefits
