Pay Structure
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Pay is per job and based on scope of work.
- Residential cleanings: $20–$30 per hour (per cleaner, job-based equivalent)
- Commercial janitorial: Flat rate per contract
- Deep / post-construction cleans: $25–$40 per hour or flat-rate per project
- Average per job: $80–$250 depending on size and scope
- Pay frequency: Weekly via direct deposit or preferred method
Referral Bonus:
- Earn $100 for each cleaning professional you refer who is hired and completes 30 days of active work.
- No limit on referrals — build your network and boost your income!
High performers with consistent availability can earn $800–$1,200 per week.
Contractors are paid per job, not hourly. Rates reflect job scope and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces
- Disinfect surfaces and sanitize high-touch areas to maintain high hygiene standards
- Restock consumables as required by client
- Follow safety procedures for chemicals and equipment
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or hazards promptly
- Complete deep cleans and special projects as assigned
- Adhere to scheduled routines and complete tasks efficiently
Contractor Requirements
As a 1099 independent contractor, you must:
- Carry your own general liability insurance
- Provide your own cleaning equipment and tools
- Provide your own cleaning supplies and chemicals
- Be responsible for your own taxes and business expenses
- Maintain reliable transportation and punctuality
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physical stamina for repetitive tasks
- Clear communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning products and safety practices (preferred)
- Previous residential or commercial cleaning experience (preferred)
- Valid work authorization
