What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at Milano's Pizza, Subs, and Taps?
Position Overview:
- Responsible for greeting customers, taking food and beverage orders, up selling and getting tickets to the kitchen for all Walk-in, Carryout, and Delivery orders
- Ensures accurate accounting of all transactions, including collections of and disbursements of cash and credit cards
- Collects cash, checks and credit card payments from guests and makes change for cash transactions, checks identification for personal checks and prepares voucher for credit card purchases accurately
- Ensures all carry out orders are accurate and that customers have everything they need before they leave
- Enjoys customer service and interacting with guests
- Works to make every guest a repeat guest

Cashier Tasks:
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and front counter using “clean as you go” practices
- Effectively serves the needs of each customer, ensures their needs are met or exceeded
- Adheres to the rules of conduct provided in ThreeWitt Enterprises employee handbook
- Adheres to the Cash Handling Policy
- Follows all opening and closing checklists when working as cashier
- Follows all health codes, policies and practices mandated by the Department of Health in Ohio
- Maintains a positive mental attitude with all co-workers and guests
- Knows all elements of a shopper report and executes with every guest
