Job Summary
Milano Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Elementary Teacher. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential. This full-time position requires a commitment to creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with state curriculum standards.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and respect.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
• Manage classroom behavior and implement effective discipline strategies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and techniques.
• Organize and supervise classroom activities, including group work, projects, and field trips.
• Support students with diverse learning needs and adapt instruction accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification for elementary education.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably at the elementary level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
• Proficiency in using technology and educational software.
