What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker / Cake Decorator position at Milano Bakery, Inc.?
Baker / Cake Decorator:
- Bake and decorate cakes and pastries - Efficiency when decorating and preparing pastries is essential * Must have experience stacking and decorating tiered cakes. Wedding cake experience is preferred.
- Monitor customer orders and delegate tasks to the assistant pastry chefs and oversee their work
- Maintain a clean and orderly station and adhere to health and safety standards paying attention to all aspects of the kitchen area. Prepping, mixing, baking
- Must be self-sufficient and dependable
- Monitor ingredient and supply inventory & place orders
- If hired, employee will be required to pass Food Handler's certification
