Gas Field Supervisor - Experience Required

Milam Plumbing, Inc. is looking for an experienced Gas Field Supervisor to help oversee field operations, support our gas crews, and ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

This position is ideal for someone with strong field experience who can lead by example, communicate clearly with crews and management, and help keep jobs moving in the right direction.

Key Responsibilities

The Gas Field Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Supervising gas field crews on residential and/or commercial job sites
• Reviewing job scopes, plans, and field conditions before and during installation
• Ensuring work is completed according to code, safety requirements, and company standards
• Supporting crews with layout, troubleshooting, and technical questions
• Coordinating with project managers, builders, inspectors, and internal team members
• Helping schedule and prioritize work based on job timelines and manpower
• Performing quality checks on gas installations
• Ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are available for each job
• Training and mentoring field employees as needed
• Enforcing company policies, safety procedures, and workmanship expectations
• Communicating job progress, issues, and changes to management

Requirements

• Previous gas piping and field supervision experience required
• Strong knowledge of gas systems, installation practices, and applicable codes
• Ability to read plans, understand job scopes, and identify potential issues
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple crews and jobs at one time
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work in the field and assist crews when needed
• Must be dependable, organized, and safety-focused
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in new construction gas installation
• Experience coordinating with builders, inspectors, and field supervisors
• Gas license or certifications are a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
