Milacron is looking for an Inside Sales Manager to join our team in Batavia, OH to lead and support a team responsible for driving sales growth in the injection molding and extrusion industry. This role focuses on managing inbound and outbound sales activities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategies to meet revenue targets.

Work You'll Do
- Sales Leadership & People Management
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the inside sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Manage, coach, and mentor the inside sales team to achieve sales quotas
- Establish a high‑performance culture built on accountability and continuous improvement
- Coach sales representatives through call reviews, deal strategy sessions, and regular feedback
- Set clear expectations and manage performance through reviews and individual development plans
- Identify, develop, and retain high‑potential sales talent
- Coach and develop inside sellers using performance data, metrics, and observed behaviors
- Sales Execution & Pipeline Management
- Own pipeline health, deal progression, and forecast accuracy
- Enforce qualification standards and sales stage discipline
- Guide deal strategy, pricing alignment, and opportunity prioritization
- Ensure consistent execution of the sales process from prospecting through close
- Drive quota attainment through disciplined execution and resource alignment
- Identify new business opportunities and drive upsell and cross‑sell efforts within existing accounts
- Business Acumen & Analytical Skills
- Analyze CRM data and sales performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Track sales metrics and review reports from Revenue/Sales Operations to optimize processes and outcomes
- Apply a strong understanding of revenue drivers, margin considerations, and commercial tradeoffs
- Plan and prioritize activities aligned to GTM strategy and overall business objectives
- Translate business goals into clear, actionable targets for the sales team
- Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers, providing product information, support, and issue resolution
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and customer service teams to ensure customer needs are met
- Communicate effectively with sales leadership and cross‑functional partners
- Reinforce value propositions, competitive positioning, and messaging consistency
- Provide clear direction during organizational, process, or GTM changes
- Escalate risks and share insights in a clear, professional manner
- Collaborate with Strategic Marketing and Commercial leadership to stay current on industry trends, particularly within injection molding and extrusion markets
- Operational Excellence
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to support the injection molding and extrusion businesses
- Identify and implement improvements to sales workflows and operating cadence
- Work closely with Revenue Operations to drive process and technology improvements that enhance customer experience, productivity, and team effectiveness
- Ensure strong adoption and effective use of CRM and sales enablement tools
- Maintain compliance with sales policies, pricing guidelines, and governance standards
- Establish and reinforce operating rhythms such as pipeline reviews, forecast calls, and performance check‑ins
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of inside sales management experience, ideally within the industrial sector
- Strong knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes and applications is a plus
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM systems and Microsoft Suite
- Experience with additional inside sales tech tools (e.g., conversation intelligence, sales engagement tools) is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively, cross-functionally and drive results in a fast-paced environment
