Work You'll Do
- Operate manual lathes to perform precision machining operations.
- Turn outside and inside diameters to specified dimensions.
- Machine internal and external threads.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand machining specifications.
- Use and calibrate measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure precision.
- Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance.
- Ensure the quality of machined parts meets or exceeds specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to the 5S system (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
- Proven experience as a Manual Lathe Machinist or similar role.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
