At this time, we are not looking for high school students who are only available during the summer or weekends. We are seeking dependable team members with consistent, year-round availability who are interested in growing with our café.
We are a fast-paced café, especially during lunch service and weekends. We're looking for someone who enjoys staying busy, can multitask efficiently, and remains calm and focused during rushes. If you thrive in a high-energy environment and take pride in working quickly without sacrificing quality, you'll fit right in.
Position Overview
As a Back of House Team Member, you'll prepare fresh food while helping maintain an organized, clean, and efficient kitchen. This position requires someone who can multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work well under pressure while maintaining our high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfast items, and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist with daily food preparation and catering orders.
- Wash dishes and keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and food preparation areas.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Monitor inventory and communicate items that need replenishing.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
- Take out kitchen trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the day, including end-of-day closing responsibilities.
- Help wherever needed to ensure the café runs smoothly.

Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred but not required. We're happy to train the right person with a great attitude and strong work ethic.
