Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, living areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor patios when applicable
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are met or exceeded
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to clean surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery effectively
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
• Dust surfaces, clean windows, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and care for flooring to maintain a pristine appearance
• Handle manual lifting of cleaning supplies and equipment safely during daily tasks
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and preferences
• Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of all equipment
• Follow safety protocols related to heavy lifting, chemical handling, and outdoor work environments

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles; janitorial or custodial experience is a plus. Training programs for all levels of experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitizers, and disinfectants along with proper usage procedures
• Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within scheduled timeframes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical stamina
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards client communication
• Outdoor work experience is advantageous for homes with exterior cleaning needs
• Basic understanding of housekeeper management practices for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to adapt quickly to different home environments while maintaining consistency in quality standards
