Position: Office Administrator Intern
Nature of Role:
The Office Administrator Intern provides administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient day-to-day functioning of the office. This role offers hands-on experience in office administration, business operations, and professional communication while developing organizational and customer service skills in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, copying, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and greet visitors in a professional manner.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and coordinating conference room reservations.
- Prepare, update, and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and office records.
- Assist with ordering and maintaining office supplies and inventory.
- Manage corporate events, corporate parties, luncheons, working meetings and head the engagement committee.
- Assist with special projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Will need a level 2 background check
