Position: Configuration Management Specialist I
Responsibilities:
include but are not limited to:
- Provide support to the OHIO Class Configuration Management (CM)/Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) group at NUWC.
- Perform System and Subsystem reviews of Engineering Change (EC)/Engineering Change Instruction (ECI)/Software Update (SU)/Temporary Engineering Change (TEC) for OHIO Class submarines.
- Interaction with Participating Manager (PARM) during team and one on one discussions for comment review meetings and providing status of products.
- Develop alteration installation status reports.
- Maintain Ship Acquisition System (SAS) database for assigned subsystems by creating Design Documentation Package (DDP) records, creating Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) sheets and planning records, performing Weapon System File Transfers (WSFTs) for applicable records, process 4790/CKs submitted by installation activities, and maintain/update baseline records.
- Develop WSFT status charts.
- Access Configuration Data Managers Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) to verify successful WSFTs and retrieve APLs.
- Support Physical Configuration Audits.
Requirements:
- Ability to Obtain/maintain SECRET Clearance.
- Strong team collaboration skills and the ability to follow direction from team leads.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience:
- Bachelors Degree
- 3 years of relevant experience
