Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our electrical construction projects. Duties
- Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for electrical projects
- Develop detailed cost proposals by analyzing project specifications, scope of work, and technical requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals and safety standards
- Conduct site visits to assess job site conditions, including terrain and access considerations such as erosion control measures
- Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services
- Prepare comprehensive bid packages that include all necessary documentation, safety considerations, and compliance details
- Stay current with industry standards, safety regulations—including OSHA standards—and advances in electrical technology to ensure accurate estimations
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator or similar role within industrial or commercial construction environments
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and construction plans
- Familiarity with erosion control practices, heavy lifting procedures, and mechanical systems relevant to electrical projects
- Understanding of workplace safety regulations, including OSHA safety standards and respiratory protection protocols
- Ability to read and analyze construction plans while considering safety regulations such as implementation of OSHA standards
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, power tools usage, and industrial construction processes
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks such as climbing structures or scaffolding as needed on job sites
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Knowledge of industrial construction experience is preferred but not mandatory; a proactive attitude towards learning is valued

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
