Duties
- Lead the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using tools such as Informatica, Talend, or custom Python scripts to prepare data for analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for data collection, integration, and reporting needs.
- Utilize SQL and Big Data technologies to query large datasets efficiently and generate meaningful insights.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau to communicate complex findings clearly and compellingly.
- Manage projects related to data governance, compliance, and lifecycle management within Agile frameworks.
- Provide leadership in implementing best practices for linked data integration, database design, and data quality assurance.
- Support ongoing training initiatives to enhance team capabilities in data analysis skills and analytics tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SQL programming and database management in Oracle or similar relational database systems.
- Strong knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend; experience with Python for automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with Big Data platforms like Hadoop or Spark is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience designing and managing data warehouses or data lakes for large-scale analytics projects.
- Proficiency in Tableau for creating insightful dashboards; experience with other visualization tools is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of project management principles within Agile environments; ability to lead initiatives from conception through implementation.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings effectively.
- Knowledge of linked data concepts, data collection techniques, and database design principles.
- Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as Oracle Cloud or similar services is preferred.
