Duties

  • Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients, ensuring clarity and mutual agreement while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
  • Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation within the agency’s CRM system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, explaining policy details, and assisting clients with claims or policy adjustments.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that increase brand awareness and attract diverse customer segments, including multilingual outreach when applicable.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) standards when handling sensitive client information and benefits administration.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing roles, preferably within the insurance industry or related fields.
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to clearly convey policy benefits and terms.
  • Demonstrated analysis skills for assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate coverage options.
  • Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse client base effectively.
  • Familiarity with sales administration processes and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies to promote insurance products effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and client engagement.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
