Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain positive guest relations to encourage repeat visits
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems and process payments with proper cash handling procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and billing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle guest relations professionally
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for better understanding of food preparation and handling
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and check splitting
