Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, initial samples, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples by use of 3D-measuring machines, tensile and compressive forces measuring machine, color test of glasses, device functional testing, etc.
- Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.
- Calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
- Perform in-process inspections
- Perform visual inspections of finished products
- Perform long-term-tests and in-depth-audit of finished products (product audit)
- Perform incoming inspections, raw material inspections
- Inspect/handle nonconforming materials for production scrap and supplier reclamations
- Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
- Compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Write technical reports or documentation, such as deviation reports, testing protocols, and trend analyses.
- Investigate and/or report questionable test results.
- Works diligently with production to ensure that quality requirements will be met
- Support similar functions in contract manufacturing as needed
