THURSDAY-SUNDAY- 1PM-8PM
LOCATION
282 S 5th St, Brooklyn, NY 11211
POSITION
The Porter/Concierge will be responsible, under the direction of the Super, for the maintenance and protection and privacy of the building and its occupants.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Porter Duties
- Cleaning of common areas and vacant apartments
- Collecting and sorting trash
- Responsible for the upkeep of building exteriors and amenities
- Ensure property looks neat and presentable
- Minor handy work may include changing light bulbs, replacing blinds and small paint touch-up jobs.
Concierge duties:
- Greet residents and visitors
- Responsible for identification/verification of all visitors and residents
- Provide security services such as monitoring the premises, responding to emergencies, conducting patrols
- Communicating with residents to address concerns or complaints about the building or community
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Porter/Concierge must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. One must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships. Must be willing to take on concierge duties a few days a weekSCHEDULE

COMPENSATION
Compensation will be determined by the Employee Building Service prevailing wage schedule.LOCATION
