Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stone Fabricator - Polisher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping, finishing, and polishing natural and engineered stone materials to meet precise specifications. Your expertise will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship while supporting our production processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently to handle stone materials
- Follow blueprint specifications and perform dimensional measurements using tape measures and other precision tools
- Fabricate stone pieces by cutting, shaping, and assembling according to project requirements
- Polish and finish stone surfaces to achieve desired aesthetic qualities using specialized polishing equipment
- Adhere strictly to safety standards and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection and safety gear at all times
- Handle materials carefully during machining, fabrication, and transportation within the warehouse or manufacturing area
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and ensure compliance with safety regulations throughout all processes
Requirements
- Construction, or related fields involving heavy lifting and material handling
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and heavy machinery such as forklifts or other heavy equipment
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to follow detailed blueprints and technical instructions
- Familiarity with safety standards in production environments including PPE use, respiratory protection, and safety protocol adherence
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise fabrication tasks
- Regular and liable attendence
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials repeatedly while maintaining safety standards
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling within a manufacturing setting is advantageous

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
