Responsibilities:
- Assist with data collection, tracking, and reporting of complications and peer review activities.
- Support process improvement initiatives through data analysis and project coordination.
- Monitor progress of action plans and report outcomes.
- Support compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare reporting requirements by collecting, validating, and submitting required data within established timelines.
- Assist in maintaining reporting logs, calendars, and tracking tools to ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
- Assist in monitoring updates to reporting requirements and communicating changes to appropriate stakeholders.
- Contribute to analysis of reported data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the organization’s continuous regulatory readiness efforts to ensure compliance with CMS, state, and accrediting organization standards.
- Assist with readiness activities including tracers, audits, mock surveys, and documentation reviews.
- Support implementation and maintenance of the organization’s Emergency Preparedness Program in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Support implementation of the organization’s Infection Prevention and Control Program in alignment with CMS, state, CDC, and accrediting organization requirements.
- Assist with infection surveillance activities, including data collection, tracking, and reporting.
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related healthcare field required.
- Clinical licensure (e.g., RN) or equivalent healthcare experience preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in healthcare, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, infection prevention, patient safety, or related field required.
- Experience supporting quality improvement initiatives, data collection, or regulatory readiness activities preferred.
- Exposure to accreditation and regulatory standards (e.g., CMS, accrediting organizations, state and federal requirements) preferred.
- Certification in Infection Prevention (CIC), Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Patient Safety (CPPS), or Accreditation (HACP), or willingness to obtain, preferred.
