Wagner is looking for an Estimator to join our team and play a key role in winning and launching projects. In this role, you’ll take projects from initial bid through post-award, working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to develop accurate, competitive estimates.

What You’ll Do
· Prepare detailed cost estimates for a variety of project types (budgetary, public bids, GMP, etc.)
· Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to define scope, materials, and labor
· Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and availability
· Identify risks, clarify scope gaps, and provide value engineering options
· Track project changes (RFIs, revisions, bulletins) and update estimates accordingly
· Submit bids and maintain accurate project documentation
· Support project teams post-award with pricing, change orders, and kickoff activities
What We’re Looking For
· 3–5 years of estimating experience (construction, fabrication, or related industry)
· Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings
· Strong understanding of materials such as aluminum and steel
· Experience with tools like Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, or similar estimating software
· Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines independently
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
