Shoe Sales Associate - Waxberg's

We're looking for a Shoe Sales Associate to join the team at Waxberg's Walk Shoppe in Niles, IL. If you enjoy helping people find footwear that fits, feels great, and supports their everyday life, this is a role where you can make a real impact every day.

In this position, you'll guide customers through our signature sit-and-fit experience, recommend shoes and insoles for comfort and support, and ensure every customer leaves feeling confident. Your attention to detail and genuine care help create a welcoming, personalized experience that keeps people coming back.

Customer Experience & Fit

You'll work closely with customers to make sure every visit is positive and informative. Your day-to-day work will include:

• Greeting customers and creating a friendly, supportive environment
• Assessing foot size and fit to recommend shoes and insoles that maximize comfort, support, and style
• Helping customers find relief from discomfort or identify their ideal shoe
• Ensuring every customer leaves feeling confident and satisfied

Product Knowledge & Brand Support

You'll also help customers understand why our shoes make a difference. Your responsibilities include:

• Learning about Waxberg's shoe styles, fit technologies, and trends
• Sharing product features and benefits clearly and confidently
• Promoting loyalty programs, rewards, and special offers

Store Operations & Teamwork

While your focus is customer service, you'll also help the store run smoothly by:

• Processing transactions accurately
• Keeping the sales floor organized, welcoming, and stocked
• Supporting team members and assisting with store tasks as needed

Pay & Schedule

• $15/hour base plus commission on qualifying sales
• 20–32 hours per week or 3-4 shifts
• Flexible scheduling with a mix of day, evening, and weekend shifts. Sunday availability strongly requested.
