Pick and Pack Associate

About the Role:

The Pick and Pack Associate plays a critical role in the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center by accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment. This position ensures that customer orders are fulfilled correctly and on time, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and company reputation. The associate will work closely with inventory management systems to locate items, verify quantities, and package products securely for delivery. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintain product integrity and workplace safety. Ultimately, this role supports the seamless flow of goods from the warehouse to the customer, enabling the company to meet its logistical commitments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand order instructions and product labels.
• Basic proficiency with handheld scanning devices or willingness to learn.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment center environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management software or warehouse management systems.
• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends or overtime as needed.
• Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products from inventory based on order specifications using handheld scanners or other technology.
• Inspect items for quality and verify quantities before packing to ensure order accuracy.
• Package products securely and label shipments according to company standards and shipping requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily order fulfillment targets and resolve any discrepancies.
