Warehouse Associate – Shipping

Pay: $20 per hour

1st Shift, 8:30 am – 5 pm, Monday - Friday

Pick, Pack and Ship orders. This role is highly active and involves walking, driving motorized carts, using handheld scanners, verifying order accuracy, and meeting daily shipping deadlines. (*_This is NOT a forklift job)*_

· Pack customer orders into shipping cartons or pallets.

· Prepare orders for shipment through various carriers.

· Using computer systems and stations, create shipping labels.

· Use pallet jacks, carts, and warehouse equipment safely.

· Assist with resolving shipping discrepancies and order issues.

What We’re Looking For

· People who enjoy working a physical job at a fast pace in a team setting.

· At least 6 months of recent warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or retail stocking experience preferred.

· Experience using handheld scanners, and basic computer skills including warehouse systems.

· People who are good at catching errors with strong attention to details and a commitment to accuracy.

· Ability to count accurately and do basic math calculations.

· Professional communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to organize work and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Willingness to learn new skills, adapt to changing directions and become forklift certified through company-provided training.

Warehouse Responsibilities

· Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

· Support teammates and other departments as needed.

· Keep workstations and warehouse areas clean and organized.

· Adapt to changing priorities and workload demands.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

These are active, physically demanding positions. Team members should be comfortable:

· Walking approximately 6,000 steps during a typical shift.

· Standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving throughout the workday.

· Regularly lifting up to 75 pounds.

· Participating in team lifts or using material handling equipment for heavier items.

· Working safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.

Requirements

· High school diploma or GED required.

· At least 6 months of recent warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or retail stocking experience.

· Successful completion of a background check and simple 4-panel pre-employment drug screening.

· Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

· Ability to read and understand English-language documents and instructions.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
