Professional Mover - Supervisor Position

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Professional Mover Supervisor to lead our moving teams and ensure smooth, efficient relocations for our clients. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate moving crews, and manage logistics to deliver exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive safety, productivity, and teamwork while maintaining high standards of quality. Must have a DOT medical card or the ability to get one.

Must have a CLEAN motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Your communication skills must be excellent. You must be able to articulate your thoughts and convey your message in a concise and direct manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address questions or concerns during moves, providing excellent customer service
• Supervise and coordinate daily moving operations, including loading, unloading, and transportation of household or commercial items
• Lead moving crews in heavy lifting, packing, and safe handling of items using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols, proper lifting techniques, and equipment operation standards
• Manage route driving responsibilities with box trucks or drivers, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups
• Oversee the loading and unloading process at client sites, ensuring accuracy and care in handling belongings
• Maintain equipment such as manual transmission vehicles and forklifts, conducting routine inspections and reporting issues promptly

Experience

• Proven experience in moving services or warehouse environments with knowledge of heavy lifting and logistics management
• Prior delivery driver experience with route driving using box trucks
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices for heavy vehicles
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment in a warehouse or moving setting
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members
• Ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple tasks in fast-paced environments
