What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laser Operator position at Midwest Metalcraft?
Qualifications:
Trumpf TrainingSchool or equivalent experience
Ability to followwritten and verbal instructions
Ability to readand understand blue prints
Basic Math Skills
Employee must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basisthroughout the day
Ability toQuality Control parts produced on this equipment using calipers, tape measures,etc.
Ability toperform the required Daily Maintenance for this equipment
Authority andResponsibilities:
Employee isresponsible to Quality Control Product or Services that he performs accordingto the blue prints and/or shop packet documents
Employee has theauthority to determine the increased frequency of inspection
Employee is heldaccountable for the quality of product produced.
Employee has theauthority to make minor modifications to program files to bring parts intoconformance to prints
Employee has theresponsibility to communicate to Engineering any changes required to programfiles that were made to bring parts into conformance
Employee isresponsible to document his inspection of parts by initialing the “InspectedBy” block on the time card showing the work in progress
Employee isresponsible to accurately monitor and record labor times
Employee isresponsible to accurately record all material used
Employee isrequired to perform and document all Operator Maintenance
Employee isrequired to follow safe work habits and report any accidents to his Superior
Employee isrequired to help out, as required, at other areas as management sees fit

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
