This is a full-time, on-site Truss Design Manager position based in Eau Claire, WI. The Truss Design Manager will oversee the design and development of trusses for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a team of truss designers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of truss designs, collaborating with manufacturing and construction teams, and monitoring compliance with relevant building codes and standards. The role requires a focus on continuous improvement, effective team leadership, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Proficiency in truss design software, structural design software, and CAD tools
- Strong understanding of building codes, structural engineering principles, and truss manufacturing processes
- Leadership, team management, and effective communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production and construction stakeholders
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Relevant educational background, such as a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
