What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truss Assembler position at Precision Truss?
Precision Truss, a leading manufacturer of wood roof and floor trusses, is looking for a Truss Assembler in our production facility. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity for advancing in a company that values quality, efficiency, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the production supervisor or table leader, follow all safety practices and procedures. The position is also responsible for moving large board from a cart to the assembly table, pulling plates, assembling the lumber and plates, stacking of finished product, banding and marking materials, and pushing product on carts to appropriate areas. Also, you will need to follow all cleaning procedures at the end of the day or as needed. Keep area clean of all hazards throughout the day.
Always stive to produce the best quality product on time. Always maintain a positive, helpful, and courteous attitude when dealing with co-workers and customers. Be able to communicate progress, issues, concerns, in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be Punctual
- Must have reliable transportation
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Prior truss assembly experience is required.
- Construction experience is a plus, but not required
