Job Title: Electrician/Field Tech
We are seeking a friendly and skilled Electrician/Field Tech for industrial dust collection equipment. Position will be primarily in house with occasional field tech responsibilities.
Shop work Responsibilities
in-house work includes:
- Wiring Electrical hardwired panels, including PLC panels, VFD panels, small MCC's and operator control panels.
- Wiring motors, switches, sensors, actuators, and instrumentation.
- Mounting electrical systems and components to equipment.
- Performing electrical testing and troubleshooting in the shop when needed.
Field Work Responsibilities
Duties include:
- Performing field wiring, troubleshooting, and system startups.
- Executing commissioning tasks for both hardwired and automated systems.
- Testing and verifying electrical systems.
- Diagnosing issues.
- Preparing field reports.
Qualifications
- 2 years experience with electrical wiring, panel building, or field tech work.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and electrical diagrams.
- Experience with VFDs, PLCs.
- Strong troubleshooting and system diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-facing demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and conduct oneself with professionalism both in the field and in the shop.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
