About the Role:
As a Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, machinery, and facility spaces to maintain a high level of cleanliness and meet regulatory standards
- Developing and implementing cleaning and sanitizing schedules and protocols
- Monitoring and controlling temperature, pH, and other environmental factors to ensure optimal sanitation conditions
- Identifying and reporting any sanitation concerns or issues to supervisor
- Collaborating with production team to ensure effective communication and minimize downtime
- Maintaining accurate records of cleaning and sanitation activities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or sanitation-related role preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
