Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapist with evaluations, treatments, and progress notes
- Implement and adapt treatment programs to meet residents' needs
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare team members
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to resident care planning
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care and outcomes
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance or related field
- Post-graduate certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Valid PTA license in the state of Kansas
- 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
