About the Role:
As a Certified Medication Assistant (CMA), you will work closely with our nursing staff to provide high-quality care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Administering medications to residents as ordered by physicians
- Assisting with vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation
- Providing personalized care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of resident care
- Collaborating with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents
- Administer medications to residents in accordance with federal and state regulations
- Document medications administered and monitor resident response
- Assist with vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards residents, families, and staff
- Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing staff
- Current certification as a Certified Medication Assistant (CMA)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
