Food Prep Team Member

Overview

We are looking for a hard-working, dependable, and reliable food prep worker to join our kitchen team. If you like working in a fast-paced environment, work well in a team, and preparing quality food, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assemble food items according to established recipes and menu plans
• Slice, chop, and portion ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
• Follow food safety management practices to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food products
• Assist in cooking and food preparation tasks to support meal service requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces
• Support catering events or special meal preparations as needed
• Adhere to safety standards in production, ensuring a safe environment for all team members

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food industry settings is preferred
• Knowledge of menu planning, food handling, and food safety standards is highly desirable
• Experience with food preparation, cooking, and serving in restaurant or kitchen environments is preferred.
• Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation
• Familiarity with food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting overall food service operations

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
