As a Supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our department/team. You will be responsible for leading a team of employees, providing guidance, support, and leadership to ensure that they meet and exceed performance targets. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of employees, fostering a collaborative and results-driven atmosphere
- Provide guidance, direction, and mentorship to team members
- Set clear performance goals and expectations for team members, regularly assess their performance, and provide constructive feedback
- Coordinate and oversee daily operations, including scheduling, task assignments, and workload distribution
- Monitor and ensure the quality of work produced by the team and take corrective actions when necessary to maintain high standards
- Identify training needs and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to team members
- Address and resolve operational issues and conflicts within the team, seeking solutions to improve efficiency and productivity
- Ensure that all safety protocols and guidelines are followed, promoting a safe working environment
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and between departments, promoting transparency and cooperation
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and workflows, implementing best practices and innovative solutions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar role in healthcare
- EMR, billing/coding, and insurance knowledge a plus
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
