Operating Room Circulating & Pre/Post Op Nurse

Midwest Eye Surgery Center is looking for an Operating Room/Circulating Nurse or Pre/Post PACU Nurse to work in our ASC full-time and part-time.

In this role YOU will:

• Be responsible for the delivery of safe, effective and quality patient care.
• Work in the Operating Room.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient; responds to emergency situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocol.
• Communicate with other surgery center staff, anesthesia care provider and the surgeon to coordinate a safe and comfortable surgical experience. Participates in patient education.
• Responsible for ensuring that the patient understands their post-operative care requirements.
• Observing patient, recording significant incidents; takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program from college or technical school.
• RN with active license in NE or a multi-state compact RN license.
• Ability to obtain ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Offered Candidates will need to do the following before first day:

• Successfully complete a background check which includes an education verification, and a license verification.
• Successfully complete drug testing.

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
