Safety and Quality Supervisor

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

• Manage daily safety, quality, and delivery documentation and systemic updates.
•  Prepare and consolidate customer and executive reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Analyze data to assist in developing trend analysis to root cause and countermeasure completion/implementation.
• Support business plan goal; develop and monitor tasks to ensure goals are achieved. 
• Act as department safety and quality representative and assist in investigations related to safety and quality.
• Solve problems and resolve issues and concerns that impact operational performance.
• Ensure consistent and professional communication with the customer at all times.
• Monitor safety and quality results and report as needed; assist in the development of safety and quality related countermeasures.
• Anticipate potential problems and apply solutions and preventative measures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS)

•  High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years’ experience leading and motivating teams in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (Preferred)
•  Ability to make immediate decisions based on production requirements 
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written, as well as organizational skills
• Ability to interact professionally within the company and with the customer
• Must be flexible to work different hours as needed by the department/business
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Post-high school education (2- or 4-year degree in Operations Management, Business or related field) or equivalent experience of 2 to 4 years in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, etc. environment
