Position Overview
Midwest Diagnostic Solutions is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Medical Couriers to support our growing operations. We are hiring 1099 independent contractors for Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN (as-needed) roles.
Couriers will be responsible for the timely and secure transport of medical specimens and supplies between client locations and our laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, supplies, and related materials
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining flexibility for on-demand pickups
- Ensure proper handling and transport of specimens in compliance with guidelines
- Maintain accurate logs and communication with dispatch/team
- Provide professional and reliable service to client locations
- Adhere to all safety and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Prior courier, delivery, or logistics experience preferred
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage routes efficiently
- Comfortable using smartphone apps for communication and routing
Work Environment
- Independent contractor (1099) role

Compensation
- Competitive per-route and/or per-stop pay structure
- Typical earnings range: $20 – $35 per hour equivalent (based on volume, distance, and efficiency)
- Mileage factored into route pricing
- Higher earning potential for reliable drivers who can handle multiple daily routes
Pay: $24.55 - $29.57 per hour
