Job Skills / Requirements
We are currently seeking an Extinguisher Service Technician for our Omaha, NE location.
Ideal candidates will have a background in extinguisher service and inspections. Experience with hood inspections and service is a plus but not required.
Starting pay is between $18 and $30 per hour, based on experience and licenses.

What you’ll be doing:
- Help keep shop and work areas clean.
- Be courteous and helpful to our service techs, inspectors and warehouse staff.
- Perform extinguisher service and maintenance, including 6 year maintenance and hydrostatic testing.
- Maintain the inventory of all serviced and new extinguishers.
- Deliver/Replace Extinguishers as necessary
- Perform service on a variety of fire protection equipment including portable fire extinguishers
What you’ll need:
- Mechanical ability and basic hand tool knowledge.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs , safely use ladders, work overhead and work in tight spaces.
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Organizational skills are essential for success
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly is a must.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time. You will be on your feet all day with the exception of morning and afternoon breaks and lunch
- Need to be able to work with hand tools.
