RV Service Technician

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on RV systems such as electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC units, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, tires, and diesel engines.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and other automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently.
• Troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical issues using advanced diagnostics equipment.
• Repair or replace components such as shocks & struts, air brakes, assemblies, and heavy-duty equipment parts while adhering to safety standards.
• Assist with auto body repairs when necessary and perform welding or equipment repairs to maintain vehicle integrity.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed.
• Support team members with heavy lifting tasks and ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Experience

• Dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive or RV repair preferred.
• Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical repairs, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance.
• Hands-on knowledge of transmissions, HVAC systems, suspension components, brake systems, tire services, and diesel engine repair.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and auto body repair techniques is highly desirable.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other automotive repair machinery.
• Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
