Midway Animal Hospital is a privately owned, small animal practice.

Full-time employees are scheduled just 4 days per week from 7:20 a.m to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday- Closed.
Primary job duties include: Greeting and helping clients, Appointment scheduling, Answering phones and emails, Relaying messages, assisting clients with end of life decisions for their beloved pets, Taking payments (credit card processing, care credit account management and cash handling),Cleaning duties, Interpreting, scanning, attaching and transferring medical and vaccination records and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:
- Previous experience on an animal care team.
- Computer literacy. (we use Shepherd veterinary software system)
- Billing and Cash register handling.
- Ability to multi-task and develop healthy relationships with team members and clients.
- Pet medical and behavioral basics, vaccination types and protocols, and preventative products.
- Driven, reliable and available to work without major schedule conflicts.
- A high level of maturity, excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to maintain professionalism in the face of stressful situations including assistance with pet euthanasia and end of life procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift or carry supplies/equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Endure sitting for extended periods and standing or walking on hard surfaces for extended periods.
We provide a well maintained facility that is accredited by AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association), to maintain the highest standards of veterinary medical care. Modern and advanced diagnostic, therapeutic and monitoring equipment. We have an in house Veterinary Laboratory with an Idexx Vet Lab Station. We use digital records, digital general and dental radiography and even an in house CT scanner.
