Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Occupational Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) at Midtown Occupational Health in Denver, CO. The role involves providing comprehensive occupational health services, conducting medical assessments, treating work-related injuries, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve employee health and safety.
Schedule
Clinic is open Monday-Friday. Flexible schedule. No on-call requirements, no nights, no weekends.
Compensation
$65 -$80 based on experience
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct patient care to occupational medicine patients including assessment, documentation, treatment intervention and patient/family education and support in accordance with education/experience, established policies and procedures, and state licensing requirements.
- Perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in diagnosing medical and surgical problems and prescribing necessary treatment and service for quality patient care
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records in EHR
- Coordinate care with specialist medical providers and rehabilitation therapists
- Performs specialty occupational medicine physicals including pre-employment and DOT physicals
- Adheres to the Midtown Occupational Health Core Values by delivering the highest standard of patient satisfaction at all times.
- Provides and/or serves as a resource for patient/family and staff education.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program of study
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in accordance with Colorado State Law
- Colorado DOWC Level 1 accreditation preferred
- DOT medical examiner certifacation, or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire
- 2 Year Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred.
- Occupational Medicine experience preferred
- Current DEA registration
- BLS certification required
- Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by Midtown Occupational Health
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and other team members
Salary : $65 - $80
