MidSouth Bank, a community bank headquartered in Dothan, AL, has an immediate opening for an experienced, capable Loan Operations Specialist to support our growing team. Working under the direction of the Loan Operations Manager, this position will handle day-to-day administrative and compliance functions for consumer and commercial loans, including coordinating and reviewing essential loan files, such as appraisals, property evaluations, titles, and proof of insurance; processing loan files and collateral data received from various branch locations; entering precise loan data into internal systems and conducting quality reviews according to bank policy and regulatory standards; maintaining accurate internal logs and completing regular account reconciliations. A successful candidate should have proven experience in bank operations and lending functions, a strong understanding of loan documentation requirements and compliance guidelines, and the capability to solve complex issues independently while operating within established guidelines.
