Midnight Sunday tells stories for some of the world's most admired luxury hotels and hospitality brands. We are a small, fiercely specialist team with a global reach, and the standard we hold ourselves to is the same one our clients hold their properties to: exceptional, always.

We are looking for an Account Manager in New York who is ready to do serious work, grow quickly, and be part of something they are genuinely proud of.


THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a hands-on role within a close-knit team that takes craft seriously and looks after its people. You will work directly with the Account Director and across our wider team of designers, community managers, influencer specialists, and digital specialists delivering social media work for a portfolio of luxury hotel clients to an uncompromising standard.


We invest in the people who join us. This is a role for someone who intends to be here, contribute fully, and grow inside it over at least the next twelve months.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Serve as the day-to-day client contact across a portfolio of luxury hotel accounts — managing communications, approvals, and workflow with precision and genuine warmth, and reporting directly to the Account Director as your primary resource for strategic direction, escalation, and problem-solving.
  • Work directly with and report to the Account Director, treating them as your primary resource for strategic direction, escalation, and client problem-solving before bringing anything to broader leadership. 
  • Own the strategic starting point — your proximity to the client and depth of knowledge about their needs is the foundation every internal team builds from.
  • Own the full lifecycle of every deliverable within the agency's project management systems — from briefing the internal team through to delivery, approval, and closure. You open the request, you track it, you follow it through, and you close it out. Nothing falls through the gap on your watch.
  • Serve as the internal voice of the client across our creative, community, influencer, and digital teams — arriving to every conversation with clear direction, full context, and the confidence to represent what the client needs so each team can do their best work.
  • Understand social media performance well enough to speak confidently to monthly reporting figures — connecting the numbers back to what happened in the account and communicating what it means to the client.
  • Prepare client-facing presentation materials in line with agency templates and standards — producing work that reflects Midnight Sunday's quality bar every time, without exception.
  • Stay across platform developments, cultural trends, and the hospitality landscape to bring relevant thinking to clients and the team
  • Be a consistent and connected presence across a hybrid team — showing up fully whether you are in the New York office, on a client site, or working remotely, and never letting the format be an excuse for anything less than your best.


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are not hiring based on years of experience or the name of your last employer, although these things matter. We are looking for someone dynamic, detail-oriented, and genuinely excited about luxury hospitality, wherever that enthusiasm comes from. If you have something to prove and the work ethic to back it up, that matters as much to us as your resume.


  • Someone who loves hotels with real conviction. You do not need to have worked in one, but you need to find them genuinely fascinating.
  • Accountable by nature — you take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks, and you follow things through without being asked twice.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable. In a small team, the quality of every person's work is visible.
  • A strong communicator in writing and in person, comfortable building client relationships from the start.
  • Digitally fluent and social media native. You understand how platforms work, how content performs, and how to think about both — and you stay curious about where it's all going. Comfort with digital tools, reporting, and AI-assisted workflows is a baseline expectation of this role.
  • Committed. We are looking for someone who sees this as a meaningful chapter, not a placeholder.
  • A genuine connection to the world of luxury travel, golf, and high-end leisure. You don't need a passport full of five-star stamps or a single digit handicap, but if you move in or are drawn to these worlds, you'll find the work resonates differently — and so will the clients.


COMPENSATION

$80,000 per year

  • This role reports to the Account Director. 
  • Four weeks paid annual leave.
  • Salary subject to review and adjustment at twelve months, in recognition of performance and commitment to the agency. Benefits package details provided during the interview process.
