The Operations department of Midlands Technical College is seeking a talented Administrative Assistant to join their team.
Job Duties:
This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
High school diploma and relevant work experience directly related to administrative or office support functions required. An associate degree from an accredited institution may substitute for the required related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills preferred.

The Operations department of Midlands Technical College is seeking a talented Administrative Assistant to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Provides comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.
- Maintains and organizes physical and digital filing systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Serves as a professional point of contact by answering and directing phone calls, coordinating meetings and appointments, and supporting daily office functions.
- Assists students, faculty, and staff with issuing parking stickers and managing vehicle reservations.
- Oversees the maintenance and readiness of college-controlled vehicles, including the issuance and retrieval of WEX fuel cards and PINs.
- Coordinates the pickup and distribution of departmental mail and manages the work order system to ensure timely resolution of maintenance and service requests.
- Maintains and oversees MSDS/SDS documentation to support workplace safety compliance and accessibility.
- Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned to support departmental and institutional goals.
