Community hospital looking to bring on Director Surgical Services! Bonus Incentive Program and Full Relocation!
Ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the units/departments in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.
- Specialty hospital – women’s and children’s services
- 11 ORs 1 dedicated pediatric OR
- Level IV Neonatal, Level IV maternal center
- Resuscitate and deliver babies starting at 21 weeks & 5 days
- Deliver 2nd most babies in the state of Texas
- 70% adult/women’s services/30% pediatrics for surgical volumes
- 500 cases/month, 6k cases/year
- GYN, breast reconstruction, oncology care, GI, colorectal, general, neonatal surgeries
- Starting pediatric congenital heart program and will be building a building CVOR for this program
- 4 XI Robots
- Director reports into COO
- 2 managers 1 supervisor as direct reports and 90 FTEs total
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
- Master's Degree Preferred
- 1 years of recent leadership experience in Surgical Services as a Director or very strong Managerial experience Required
- 3 years applicable Surgical Services experience Required
- Former Pediatric experience is highly preferred (will accept staff level experience in Peds, Mother Baby, NICU, L&D)
