Provide leadership to Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiac Specialty Unit (CSU), and Dialysis. Accountable for the clinical, operational, and fiscal performance of the designated unit. Position oversees the execution of short-and long-term strategies to support organizational goals pertinent to the campus, establishes and ensures compliance with standards of clinical care, and maintains accountability for staffing, quality, safety, service and clinical excellence throughout these areas. Other responsibilities include assisting Clinical Managers/supervisors with Evidence Based Leadership, supporting professional nursing practice, and responding to any patient or physician’s complaints in an administrative leadership role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
- 3 years or more years’ experience in all aspects of critical care nursing.
- Current RN license within the state of practice
- Successful completion of critical care course
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS Certification
- CPI certification within six months of hire
